Connection Starts With Language
Why We Built ASL Pal
Learning ASL on your own can be challenging, especially when you're unsure if you're signing correctly or how to improve without a teacher's guidance. We wanted to change that.
We created ASL Pal to give learners more opportunities to practice, review their signing, and build confidence at their own pace. Through interactive lessons, activities, self-assessment tools, and feedback technology in select lessons, learners can take a more active role in their progress.
Whether you're learning independently or using ASL Pal alongside classroom instruction, our goal is to help you feel comfortable and confident signing in everyday life.
For Our Community
As a product of DawnSign, a Deaf-owned business with over 45 years of serving the Deaf and signing communities, ASL Pal carries forward our commitment to making ASL learning more accessible, engaging, and meaningful for everyone.
We want more people to learn ASL, whether it's to communicate with Deaf friends and family, connect with coworkers and neighbors, or simply learn a new language.
Our hope is simple: to see more people signing, connecting with the Deaf community, and using ASL in their daily lives. The more people who sign, the more accessible our world becomes.
